Treatstock

Marketplace

A platform that lists independent manufacturers. You choose a manufacturer and the order is made by that manufacturer, not by Treatstock.

Based in
Newark, Delaware, USA (the address in the site footer). Manufacturers on the platform are located worldwide.
How quoting works
Upload your files, set units and quantities, choose material and color, then compare prices, reviews and delivery options from the manufacturers that can make the part and order from one. You can also send a quote request to a manufacturer from its directory.

Materials
Its materials guide lists PLA, ABS, PETG, ASA, polycarbonate, nylon (SLS and FDM), TPU, resin, carbon fiber, stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, brass, copper, cobalt-chrome, castable wax and sandstone, among others.

An online 3D printing service bureau that produces parts itself.

Based in
Villejuif, France, with a US office in Cambridge, Massachusetts (both on its contact page).
How quoting works

Own production

The 3D printing service of the JLCPCB group, which also runs JLCPCB (circuit boards) and JLCCNC (machining). JLC3DP says it runs a 140,000 m² facility with more than 1,300 industrial printers.

Based in
China. JLC3DP belongs to the Shenzhen-based JLC group behind JLCPCB.

How to use this comparison

  • Start from the process, not the brand. If you already know you need SLS nylon or SLA resin, shortlist the services that list it. Our FDM vs SLA vs SLS guide helps you decide.
  • Get more than one quote. All six quote standard parts online. A marketplace shows several manufacturers at once; a print bureau gives you its own price. See how pricing works.
  • Count shipping and duties. Where a part is made affects delivery time and, across borders, import costs. Check the final price at checkout, not the headline part price.
  • Check your file first. A model with errors can be rejected or delayed. Run through our STL checklist before you upload.
